What is the my-wage.com site about?
The MY-WAGE.COM site analyzes the salaries of the users and the determinant factors concerning those salaries through clear diagrams and short textual assessment. The user will have access filtering at will the disposable data base on the basis of distinct factors (e.g. male/female, age, education, industrial branch, work-experience, etc.).
Do you have to pay for the registration?
The provisions of the MY-WAGE.COM site are FREE, but for the usage ANONYMOUS REGISTRATION is required.
Can the users of this site find out the salaries and other data belonging to the given e-mail addresses?
No. The data of the given registration can be seen only by the person it belongs to. The other users can only browse the diagrams which are made of the collected data.
I am easily identified from a few data, so can anyone find out which data I used throughout the registration?
No. If the filtering parameters give less than 5 data records, the system will refuse the analysis. In this case analysis can be made only by loosening the filtering parameters (by increasing the number of the data records).
I do not know my net income (or other data), what should I do?
During the process of the registration you should give what data you do know. Later, after you checked it up on, you can always go back and edit/add more data. IMPORTANT: Even temporarily do not give extreme values (for instance 1 USD) because the data is deleted from our data base regurarly.
How can you use this site?

How often is the data updated?
Each user decides it himself/herself. For security reasons the system sometimes reminds each user for not logging in for a while. The frequency of updating is not restricted, so any data modifications can be registered immediately.
I also have part-time job, how should I register?
The part-time job should be registered as a separate profile with all its accurate data. If the part-time job is similar to the main job, they can be registered together. IMPORTANT: in this case all of the data (e.g. working time) should be given together.

The lower and upper 40. percentiles are those data, from which the 40% of the analysed data are smaller or larger.
What is median?
The median is that data, from which the half of the analysed data are smaller or larger.
Why is median not equal to the average?
The median reflects the number of the data entries but the average reflects their value. These figures are not necessarily equal. |
